Looks like my plea has been answered.  Tom S. ran across a set about the same time I posted on the forum.  So it looks like that issue will be removed from my list.

Now to address the OTHER 500 items...

After searching for years, including bugging poor Tom Shaughnessy to death, I am dispairing finding a set of correct pliers for my toolkit.

I thought I would place a wanted post here, in the hotbed of Daytona interest.  Hopefully one of you reading this post have a spare set of pliers, or may know someone who does.

Correct pliers have parallel grooves on the handles that are perpendicular to the long axis of the handles.  NO CROSS HATCHING.  They are chrome plated, and have chamfered edges on the head of the pliers.

Let me know if you have any you wouldn't mind selling!

Thanks

Tom
