![]() This is an example of the Briefcase or "Red Tray" tool kit, with two trays. As the 365 2+2 and Boxer were being built in 1973 along with the Daytona it stands to reason that these briefcase tool kits found their way into some Daytonas as well. These briefcase tool kits were not seen in Daytonas before 1973. The owner was typically supplied with a jack bag containing the jack and components, bulb holder, 500gram and 1000 gram hammers, hazard triangle, hexagonal knockoff wrench (if a US Daytona) and emergency window crank (typically found in the glove box). Tool rolls can also be seen in 1973 Daytonas. No more than 2 points out of a total of 100 points can be deducted for the tool kit for concours. Period reproduction tools are acceptable for concours.
