In racing terms, a homologated car is one recognized by the relevant regulating body as a production line vehicle. The manufacturer must prepare an official document describing the car in detail and certifying that a certain number of identical examples have been produced as street cars for sale to the public. These are homologation papers for Ferrari 365/GTB4 F.I.A.-CSAI sn 14233. You would file with the Federation International De L'Automobile in order that any Daytona from sn 13573 to 14359 be allowed to race in competition. The production of the first car started on September 1, 1970 and the 500th car was built on August 31st 1971 (500 was necessary to have the homologation). Included in these 13 pages are photos and description of the Daytona.
