There are two engine bay lamps. One is mounted on the left side of the engine bay just below the rain well and the other is on the right side of the engine next to the bulk head. They will operate only if the hood is in the open position and the ignition and headlights are turned on. It kind of makes sense as they give off little light and therefore you don’t need them during the day.
